Who We Are
The Intuitive Foundation was created in 2018 with the aim of reducing the global burden of disease and suffering through philanthropy, research and education aimed at better outcomes for patients everywhere. We do this through a combination of research grants, philanthropic giving, and volunteers serving in their local communities world wide.
Dale Bergman
Ms. Dale Bergman is Grant manager of the Intuitive Foundation and has been the Manager of Research Programs for Intuitive Surgical since 2012.

Mark Rubash
Mr. Mark Rubash has served on the Board of Directors of Intuitive Surgical since 2007 and currently serves as the Chair of its Audit Committee.
Lonnie Smith
Lonnie M. Smith served on Intuitive’s Board of Directors from June 1997 until his retirement in April 2020, last serving as Chairman of the Board.
