Sherice Nivens
Program Director
Sherice Nivens is Director of Internal Programs for the Intuitive Foundation and previously served as a Director of Marketing/Marketing Principal with the US Clinical Marketing group for Intuitive Surgical, where she was instrumental in formulating strategies for multiple specialties and facilitating the rapid adoption of cutting-edge medical innovations in robotic-assisted surgery since 2005. Sherice has been in her current role since October 2024 and oversees philanthropy, outreach, volunteer programming, and other initiatives for the Foundation. Holding a B.S. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and a M.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNCCH), Ms. Nivens’s work is fueled by a belief that meaningful acts, no matter how small, can spark lasting change. With that, she helped to create the Intuitive Foundation Outreach Committee alongside Dr. Catherine Mohr in 2018, is a founding member of the Wolfpack Women in Philanthropy at NCSU and has started the Arnater and Viola Nivens Scholarship Endowment at NCSU in the College of Sciences along with the Jacquetta Denise Johnson Memorial Scholarship with the UNCCH Law School.
